Everest (Sagarmatha) region is world famous for its mountain views and spectacular beauty. The region is abode of the top of the world, Mt. Everest 8,848meters (local names Sagarmatha in Nepali and Chomologma in Tibetan languages) including other eight thousanders and popular peaks. Everest region is popularly known as Khumbu region for its proximity to the world’s highest peak but it is even famous for its typical Sherpa’s villages and monasteries sharing unique cultural heritage and their local livelihood.

Every year thousands of trekkers and climbers visit the Everest region. October to November and March to May is regarded as the busiest trekking season of Khumbu.
