Dhampus Peak Expedition

Dhampus Peak Expedition

Dhampus peak(6012m) also known as Thapa peak, is easier climbing trekking peak to the North-East of Dhaulagiri mountain range in western Nepal. Climbing Dhampus peak is getting its fame as one of the popular trekking peaks of this region. However, the peak is not so technically tough for climbing but needs a considerable acclimatization during the climb. Normally, we advice to take the Thorang-La (5416m.) crossing trek before climbing Dhampus peak for a better acclimatization.

Climbing Dhampus offers stunning mountain views of Mt. Dhaulagiri 8167m, Mt. Annapurna I 8091m, Annpurna II 7739m, Annapurna III 7555m, Annapurna IV 7525m, Annapurna south 7219m, Hiunchuli 6441m, Mt,. Fishtail(Machhapuchhare-6998m), Mt. Nilgiri 7040m, Lamjung Himal 6988m, Tukuche peak 6920m etc and mixed culture with beautiful landscape.
