There are the various films like the little Buddha and the golden child which had captured the diverse landscape along with the rich cultural heritages and architectural splendor of Nepal. Caravan movie is Oscar-nominated due to the portrayals of the people living amidst of adverse natural conditions called “Dolpo”, a mountain district along with the majestic panorama of mountainous landscapes and lakes.

Besides this, by capturing the beautiful and exotic locales of the land, several bollywood films have been shot in Nepal. Khudagawha is a film whose story was set in the harsh mountain deserts of Afganisthan was shot in Nepal and it was the film which could not be shot in Afghanistan.
