Helambu Trekking

Helambu is a name of a village in highland of northern Nepal, close to its capital city, Kathmandu.  People of Helambu are called Hyalmo. The trek is an opportunity to be familiar with hyalmo culture in a company of green rhododendron and bamboo forests, majestic waterfalls, snow-capped Himalayan scenery at the border with Tibet and monasteries make a trek to the region an  lifetime experience. Whereas we consider Helambu trekking it begins at Sundarijal, passes through several settlements, leading to Helambu village and finally descending to Melamchi valley. It is a short and appropriate trek for those people having short holidays. Several other trekking routes of Langtang region meets at Helambu.
